Family Photography
If you’re a firm believer that having family photos taken should actually be fun, then you’ve come to the right place! I take a documentary approach to photographing families, which means I won’t spend a lot of time posing you or telling you to look at the camera (basically, if you want your whole family in matching outfits and smiling for the camera, I am probably not your photographer). I will still offer gentle direction and encouragement when needed, but for the most part I’ll hang back and just let you be you. It’s usually best to plan an outing or an activity - something that doesn’t require the kids to sit still! Can we still do a few posed shots for your family holiday card? Absolutely! But my focus will always be on capturing real moments between you and your loved ones.

Capture and preserve the incredible beauty of one of the hardest and most important things you will ever do: bring a precious human life into this world. Ultimately, birth photography is telling a story: about power, courage, connection, and love. Having a professional birth photographer means you will have beautiful images of those first moments with your baby, no matter how challenging the lighting or how overwhelming things might feel in the moment for you and your partner. Birth photography services include coverage from active labour until your baby is born, and up to two hours post-partum.

Motherhood & Maternity
Not just for moms (who are totally badass, by the way) but for all parents and their little ones. Whether you want to document your growing baby bump, celebrate your breastfeeding or chestfeeding journey, or capture precious moments with your sweet newborn, I am here for all of it. The special bond between parent and child is undeniably beautiful, and it is one of my favourite things to capture. A little nervous about feeling awkward in front of the camera? Don’t be - I’ve got you. I usually recommend that these sessions take place in your home, where you’re most comfortable, and I will offer posing guidance when needed. Partners are also encouraged to participate in motherhood and maternity sessions!
